I used Expedia to do the booking, and the Palms Place is one of their "VIP Access" properties. ![]() I checked out videos on YouTube and was excited because the units looked gorgeous. Palms Place is one of the few "condo-hotels" that are in Las Vegas. I reserved a Studio Suite over at the Palms Place, which is West of Strip next to the Palms Casino. I also went for something bit nicer especially since my employer was paying for half of it. Having stayed both on Strip and Downtown, I figured I would try something different this time around. I paid a total of $90 for three days - I had a free weekend day coupon but before an additional $12.95 I paid to American Express for Premium Rental coverage. The SUV side wasn't all that exciting either.but since I needed something bigger I took a Buick Enclave, which is a full size crossover. The Executive Selection wasn't all that exciting with the usual Full Size sedans like Nissan Altima's, Chevy Impalas, Hyundai Sonatas, etc. I'm also an Executive Emerald Club member so I get to bypass the counter and go straight to the Executive Selection and pick my own car. The queue for the shuttle to the Rent a Car Center was pretty short too.Īt work, we rent exclusively with National since we get good rates with them. Getting through McCarran and having to wait for bags took the usual half-hour or so. The flight actually got to Vegas an hour earlier than scheduled, which was definitely a bonus! The flight itself was uneventful, but it would be my first time flying into Las Vegas at night, which was a cool experience.
